Chaiboun Darwiche, CEO of SIILHalal, celebrates the accreditation granted by the Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (Department Of Islamic Development Malaysia).

Chapecó, March 26, 2024 – SIILHalal Brasil Halal Certification is honored to announce the achievement of accreditation as a Halal Certification Body recognized in Brazil by the Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (Department Of Islamic Development Malaysia) to certify products such as: food, beverages, raw materials, cosmetics, and personal care products.

With this authorization, SIILHalal has become a recognized Foreign Halal Certification Body in Brazil and approved by the International Halal Recognition Verification Committee, Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM), to ensure that any Halal product intended for export to Malaysia complies with all regulations of the country's Competent Authority.

SIILHalal CEO Chaiboun Darwiche celebrates the achievement: "SIILHalal is committed to ensuring the compliance of all Halal products intended for export to Malaysia with the regulations of Malaysia's Competent Authority, thereby ensuring the quality and integrity of certified products," he states.

Furthermore, according to the executive, this achievement will greatly benefit Brazilian companies interested in accessing the global Halal market, as in addition to the growth, a segment that could reach $6 trillion in 2024, there are commercial export opportunities to Malaysia, the largest Halal economy worldwide.

"Malaysia has ranked first among 81 countries and regions that comprised the Global Islamic Economy Indicator for the 9th consecutive year, a market with over 20 million Halal consumers, about 60% of its population," highlights Chaiboun Darwiche.

According to the official letter issued by JAKIM, SIILHalal's accreditation takes effect from this month, and SIILHalal's CEO expresses satisfaction with this important achievement, emphasizing the company's dedication to promoting authenticity and trust in Brazil's Halal market and beyond borders.
