Mission led by CEO Chaiboun Darwiche advances Halal cooperation during visit to the Ministry of Awqaf in Damascus.
SIILHalal advanced another key diplomatic initiative in the Middle East. Led by CEO Chaiboun Darwiche, the Brazilian certifier traveled to Damascus for an institutional meeting with Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Abu al-Khair Shukri, Minister of Religious Affairs of the Syrian Arab Republic.
The meeting, held at the Ministry of Awqaf, focused on strengthening bilateral relations, expanding Halal cooperation and aligning future technical initiatives.
Discussions explored regulatory opportunities, knowledge exchange and pathways to expand internationally recognized Halal certification, addressing the growing demand in Arab markets for reliable and compliant certification processes.
